APPLICATION VIDEOS
Before installing the product, ensure that the assembly will support the weight load of the sloping material; the product weights approximately 2.5 pounds per square foot when applied at ¼” thick. The low sloped areas will need to be identified and a screed board will need to be set so as to determine the amount of sloping material needed to achieve a positive pitch towards drains or scuppers. Thoroughly inspect the areas to be coated to ensure that the contiguous areas will not limit your sloping ability. The existing roofing application must be thoroughly cleaned and free from contaminants.
Prime
The RoofSlope product is self priming and can be installed over existing surface moisture; simply ensure that all ponding water is broomed off the surface.
Application
Once the areas have been properly prepared, apply the RoofSlope Product by mixing one 50 pound bag of RoofSlope with approximately 1 ¼ gallons of water. The mix will be extremely wet, almost to the consistency of self leveling. Apply the RoofSlope Mix by using a screed board and a trowel to achieve the appropriate slope, and broadcast the desired 16 grit silica sand or granules into the wet mixture until refusal.
Cure
Once the material cures, the installation is complete and the low sloped areas of the roof will tie into the aesthetics of the surrounding roofing composition and the ponding water should be corrected.
